Why volunteer

Volunteering at HOPE

Are you wanting to do something with your spare time? Perhaps you want to gain some experience and new skills? Then donating your time is one of the greatest ways you can help us here at Hope Community Services.

Volunteering Opportunities

Volunteer Retail Assistant
We have a retail outlet in Worksop  selling new clothing.

Volunteer Support Worker
Our direct access hostel in Worksop provides support and advice to people in the local area. We also provide somewhere to sleep and ensure no one goes without food and drink. Various opportunities are available from; cooking and cleaning, to providing support to our service users.

Volunteer Fundraiser
As a charity we rely on fundraising and donations from the public and private sector. Volunteers are always needed to raise funds by getting involved in  events to help raise funds for the charity, e.g. bag packing in supermarkets, organising a fayre, local clothing sales, hosting an event or any other ideas you may have.

Volunteer Trustee
We have a vacancy for Trustees. The Board are responsible for ensuring that the affairs of Hope Community Services are conducted legally and properly. The Board meet between 6 and 8 times a year. Applicants must be over the age of 18.
