Hope Community Services have been running a winter sleeping appeal bag appeal over the last two months on Just Giving so that they could buy 20 sleeping bags. HOPE has managed to raise an amazing £333 from their appeal, as they received generous donations from members of the public.

HOPE is now able to distribute sleeping bags to those sleeping rough in Worksop. If you see someone sleeping rough, you can direct them to HOPE on Queen Street in Worksop, where they can ask for a sleeping bag.

HOPE’s Development Worker Emma Longmore commented; “We are extremely grateful to the general public for thinking about those in need, it says a great deal and their donations will go so far.  It’s especially important at this time of year, if you’re out on the street, having something to keep you warm.” People who are homeless can present themselves at HOPE’s 14 bed homeless hostel for a bed and also support and advice.

If you haven’t made a donation and would still like to do so, then the appeal is open until the 28th of February. The link is: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/sleepingbagsforhope23

HOPE are extremely thankful for this very generous support. All donations large or small, help HOPE provide the vital support services needed for those in crisis.
