Joanne Linley, Office Manager I have worked at Hope Community Services (formerly Hope for the Hopeless) for 11 years as an office manager. Over the years the role has developed significantly as the charity has branched out over the years. The last 3 years have shown the greatest change here at Hope. As a result of an operational strengths review, the organisations overall aims and achievements have moved forward. The changes included working more intensively with our service users, to enable them to move forward, obtaining necessary life skills and confidence to progress back into independent living. Over the years my role has allowed me to gain new skills and obtain qualifications in Business Admin and Management, allowing me to employ an apprentice. Admin work has increased with the purchase of new move-on properties for our service users to progress. I love to see our service user’s progress and move on to a more positive future. When I first started working at Hope I had no idea at the many struggled and issues that individuals have, all linked together to make their lives so chaotic. The whole team at Hope works together to ensure that service users have all they need to move forward and progress back into independent living.
