Retford Rotary makes donation to homeless charity HOPE…
2017 sees Retford Rotary once again helping Bassetlaw charity HOPE, support homeless people across the District. Retford Rotary Club have donated £3,000 to help HOPE renovate their utility room located in their 14 bed homeless hostel. HOPE’s utility room is used by those who they support, as well as those who are sleeping on the streets. It allows people to freshen up by taking a hot shower, and also offers facilities for individuals to do their laundry. The money was made up of 3 separate elements; Retford Members’ Charity Fund, The Retford Club’s Percy Laws Fund, and Rotary District support.
HOPE’s CEO Alan Diggles has said; “Once again, The Rotarians of Retford have been fantastically generous and helped us to upgrade our facilities. They have been consistent supporters of Hope, without whom we could not do what we do. Thank you!”
If you would like to support HOPE in anyway, then you can contact HOPE’s Development Worker Emma Longmore on 01909 531294 ext.29 or alternatively firstname.lastname@example.org
HOPE are always grateful for the amazing support that it receives. All donations are used to help support those who are homeless and/or in crisis.
