Quality
HOPE already has a commitment to quality practices, reaching level 2
of the Pqasso self assessment quality standard. HOPE has also attained
the Community Legal Service Quality Mark, at both assisted Information
and General Help levels. We have also been awarded Matrix Quality
Standard. This is linked with our continued commitment to
providing high quality services throughout the community in which we
work.
As part of this commitment HOPE will:
- State our purpose clearly for all to see, saying why we exist and
what we hope to achieve, and make sure this stays relevant to the
needs of our community.
- Be clear about our values and the standards we will meet. We will
continually assess our services against the standards set and look for
improvements in the way we run our organisation.
- State clearly in what way our managing body is accountable and how
it will carry out its responsibilities and duties.
- Make sure that people who use our services are satisfied and that
they are encouraged to contribute to the running of the organisation
and to reviews of our work.
- Recognise that volunteers are our most valuable resource and make
sure they all have the opportunity to contribute to the work of the
organisation and its effectiveness.
- Support equal opportunities practice and work to make sure that
our policies and practice are not directly or indirectly
discriminatory.
- Regularly review the effectiveness of our work and use this
information to improve existing services and develop new ones as
appropriate.
- Have an appropriate financial system that enables us to work
effectively, and to protect the interests of everybody involved.
- Work well together as a group. We share our skills and knowledge
and use our experience to meet the needs of our members and others who
use our services.
