On Friday the 1st of June Hope Community Services held a celebration volunteers lunch where Councillor Glynn Gilfoyle (from Nottinghamshire County Council ) presented our amazing volunteers with certificates and gift sets. The lovely afternoon consisted of a buffet, fruit punch and glorious weather. ☕
At HOPE we are extremely grateful for all of our hard working volunteers, as without them, we wouldn’t be able to carry out the work which we do, and support those in crisis. We would also like to thank Bassetlaw District Council for loaning us crockery for the afternoon, it was greatly appreciated.
The afternoon started off with a welcoming reception, where volunteers could have a warm beverage or fruit punch-along with some classical music. The buffet prepared by HOPE was laid out and displayed, ready for eating once the welcome speech had commenced.
Councillor Glynn Gilgoyle and HOPE’s CEO Alan Diggles then started the afternoon with a welcome speech, thanking our amazing volunteers for all of their work and effort. This was proceeded by a certificate ceremony, where both Alan and Glynn presented volunteers with a personalised certificate along with flowers and gift sets.
