HOPEs homeless hostel celebrates Easter

HOPE’s homeless hostel, located on Queen Street in Worksop decided to celebrate Easter a bit differently this year.  On Good Friday we made the bank holiday really special for the service users. Support Workers Lesley and Liz spent the morning with the clients making Easter crafts (cards, decorating eggs etc) and this was followed by a sit down cream tea.
Staff served the clients tea and coffee, whilst they were treated to sandwiches, scones (with jam and cream) trifles and cake. They then received their Easter Eggs.  Throughout March members of the public, as well as local schools and churches donated chocolate Easter eggs for HOPE’s clients.
HOPE would like to thank service user Tim for all his hard work in preparing the room and food. Also thank you you to Bassetlaw District Council for loaning HOPE crockery and tea pots for the afternoon tea.
