Hope Community Services have taken the decision to close its Furniture Warehouse in Worksop.
Alan Diggles, Hope’s CEO said; “In today’s competitive environment more and more people are choosing to utilise social media to dispose of their own used furniture. It has meant that our operation is no longer cost effective to run. It’s such a shame that we have had to close the Warehouse after so many years. But, we cannot continue to offer a service that is costing us to operate. We need to focus on our core services and help the increasing number of homeless people who are knocking on our door and seeking a bed for the night.”
Our Furniture Project is closing it’s doors on Thursday the 16th of November.
