On Friday the 9th of December we had our Christmas Bake Off, which consisted of 4 categories, cakes, biscuits, mince pies and a children’s category. The bake off had some fantastic and festive entries, they tasted as good as they looked! On our judging panel we had: Daniel from Ilet & Clark, Alison from The Crossing, Pat from St Anne’s Church, Julie from Spoonful of Sugar, Sophie from The Worksop Guardian, Geoff Matthews from the Retford Rotary Club, Alan Sutton a Trustee at HOPE and CEO Alan of HOPE.
The atmosphere of the morning was brilliant and we would like to congratulate our winners!
Winners: Mince Pies-Heather Owen, Cakes-HOPE house service users, Biscuits-Alison from The Crossing, Children’s category-Jack Medcalf. Our star baker was: Alison from The Crossing.
