Hope Community Services celebrates National Volunteers Week…
Hope Community Services will be joining many other local charities in celebrating ‘National Volunteers Week’, which commences June 1st. Hope will be taking part in a variety of activities such as: a stall with the Bassetlaw Food Bank in Retford on June the 4th, helping to promote volunteering. As well as, a small celebratory event on Tuesday the 2nd of June, where all of Hope’s volunteers will be presented with a certificate of appreciation by their CEO Alan Diggles.
Alan Diggles, Hope’s CEO said “Here at Hope we really appreciate all of the hard work and effort that our volunteers bring. Without volunteers we simply wouldn’t be able to carry out the work which we do, and operate. We want to take this opportunity to truly thank every individual who commits their time to us, and we’re doing this by embracing NCVO’s National Volunteers Week”.
If you’re interested in volunteering for us here at Hope, then please contact Joanne on 01909 521394 ext.29 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
We have amazing opportunities to volunteer in our retail shops, furniture projects and even our main office/hostel.
